In the year 2345
Another planet, other than earth, has been discovered by astronomers that is 'survivable.' Earth, as a whole, is dying. In the year 2190, The United Nations sent out its first voyage to attempt to inahbit the planet. The planet is 4 light years away from earth. With the new discovery of 'warp speed,' astronomers and scientists say that the trip to, what they call, planet Omega, can be done. The trip should have taken the voyagers around five years to reach planet Omega. Earth does not know wheather the voyage made it or not, across that vast distance, communication was lost. The voyage also had to go through a massive astroid field on their trajectory to Omega. It has now been 155 years since the first voyage was sent out, and Earth is on the brink of collapse, in every way imaginable. Pollution, poverty, war, and crime, are all at their peak. Earth will be uninhabitable very soon. Since communication was lost with the first voyage, and it tkaes so long to build the technology neccesary to make the trip to planet Omega. Earth did not try and send another voyage to planet Omega. However, despereate times call for desperate measures, and 155 years later, another voyage of 225 passengers has been prepared. The UN have updated the communiaction system to stay in contact with the second voyage across that vast distance. Upon arrival at the planet, the ships general, and their ten most trusted allies from voyage depart, exploring the new world. Leaving the other 214 crew members to watch over the ship. The air is breathable, and it is filled with natural beauty; however, the small unit soon learns how dangerous the planet actually is. The wildlife is very hostile, attacking the voyagers at first sight, even down to the bugs.
